Mrs Sylvia Khamati-Logendo is a seasoned Public Health and Strategic Management professional with over 20 years’ experience leading large-scale health and humanitarian programs across Africa. She currently serves as Senior NCD Programme Advisor for Africa, providing strategic and technical leadership on non-communicable disease (NCD) prevention, treatment, and care in crisis-aƯected and fragile contexts. Her prior roles include Senior Regional Health Advisor for Africa, Global Health Delegate, and Head of Health, Nutrition, Gender & Social Services at the Kenya Red Cross Society. Sylvia has extensive experience in health systems strengthening, programme design, policy advocacy, and multi-country coordination. She has consulted widely for organizations such as USAID, HIVOS, CBM, and FHI 360, and contributed to several global health publications and policy frameworks. A PhD candidate in Public Health, Sylvia is passionate about advancing equitable, resilient health systems and empowering communities through innovation and research
