Patricia Njiiri
Senior Director, NCDs, NTDs & Vaccines - Clinton Health Access Initiative
Ms. Patricia Njiri, a social scientist by training is the Senior Program Director for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and Vaccines at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) Kenya Office. She has over 15 years of experience leading impactful public health programs where she has played an instrumental role in shaping and scaling innovative health interventions across several disease programs. Her most recent notable achievement, however, lies in championing the UNITAID-funded cervical cancer prevention program in Kenya. Under her leadership, this groundbreaking initiative has strengthened national capacity for cervical cancer screening and treatment, expanded access to HPV DNA testing and portable treatment devices, and established a strong foundation for the elimination of cervical cancer by 2030. Patricia’s efforts have helped transform this project into a scalable national model, now supported by multiple partners and donors under the stewardship of the Ministry of Health.
