A Sickle Cell warrior and Filmmaker by profession, with an immense passion in scripting.
  • January 2017: I joined Africa Film And Tv Talent Training Institute (AFFTI) in Nairobi to study Film and TV Production professionally equipping myself in Scripting, Directing, Editing and Fundraising for Projects, Producing, and Directing. We produced Hare ya Mababi a class project.
  • 2018: I became a Social Media Manager for Estudio Camouflage, a photo and video company where I attended to all their social media handles Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, responding to client emails, reserving appointments. Grasping knowledge, I embarked on starting my career fully in Kisumu as a Director, Producer, Script writer.
  • 2018: I Featured in the movie ODIERO as a headmistress, doubling up as the Production Manager for the production.
  • 2019/2020: I wrote Anita Wetu a 20-minute mini-series for Naweza Films, thereafter directing All Found, a horror film for YouTube.
  • 2020: I attended Kenya Film Commission capacity building training on scripting, Editing, Directing, Producing, and Acting. I produced a group short films, and during the training Winam Guild was founded, where I'm a member and the current treasurer for a short period of time.
  • 2021: Featured as an extra and production manager for Finix Production in the short film Tembe. With the experience I received in the projects previously worked on in 2021, I founded Victoria Youth in Film Empowerment, with the aim of empowering youth, people living with Sickle Cell Disease, people living with disability, and women in general.
  • 2022: I produced a short film Genotype under Victoria Youth Empowerment, a short film talking about the importance of knowing and identifying your genotype for courting couples.
  • 2022:  I registered for a short course with SoMo Buruka Africa, an initiative to empower people living with disability(PLWD). Learning more from Introduction to Business and Communication, Growth Mindset, Stress Management, Customer Focus, Persistence, Pitch Day, Introduction to Branding, Brand Names, Contract Development, Customer Service. SoMo Buruka Africa is an initiative to empower people living with disability.
