Dr. Elijah Yulu

Family Physician, AIC Kijabe Hospital
Dr. Elijah Yulu is a Family Physician and health systems leader currently pursuing a PhD in Global Health, with a focus on strengthening primary health systems through technology and innovation. At AIC Kijabe Hospital, he leads outpatient services and drives innovation initiatives that integrate technology into non-communicable disease care — including AI-powered diagnostics for stroke and other emerging health challenges. He is also involved in developing telemedicine services to expand access and continuity of NCD care. Dr. Yulu’s work extends to research, advocacy and collaboration on NCDs and equitable healthcare delivery across Africa. He is passionate about global health, NCD prevention and management and leveraging digital innovation to transform health outcomes in resource-limited settings.
