Sidney Misigo Chahonyo, a childhood cancer survivor of over 20 years and a passionate advocate for transforming pediatric cancer care in Kenya. As the  fundraising Director of Hope for Cancer Kids (HCK), he works tirelessly to ensure children with cancer receive holistic support, leveraging HCK’s partnership with the St. Jude Global Alliance to amplify impact. Additionally, he contributes as Board Treasurer of the Kenyan Network of Cancer Organizations (KENCO). His lived experience fuels his advocacy at both national and global levels, including his role as the first and only childhood cancer survivor serving on the board of Childhood Cancer International (CCI). A living testament to survivorship and resilience, Sidney brings a powerful voice to cancer policy and patient-centered care.
