Dr Jackson Ongong’a Otieno serves at AFIDEP as a Senior Health Financing Expert, leading the implementation of the health financing project – Advancing Domestic Health Financing (ALDIH). Jackson holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a Masters in Economic Policy and Management from Makerere University, Uganda. He also holds a Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the same university. During his free time, Jackson likes traveling and mountaineering. He boasts of conquering a number of mountains in Kenya, across Africa and the rest of the world. He also enjoys listening to African Rhumba.
